daily adventures riding a bicycle built for two

Canada

Canada is home. Matane, Quebec was my hometown during my teen years. A beautiful quiet place by the St. Laurence seaway. In summer, it was lush, green, and warm. In winter, a barren, cold, icy land. I miss it.

My husband is from Victoria, B.C. Where moss grows everywhere on roofs, the ground, trees . . . everywhere. Visiting is always an incredible joy. Snow is absent from winter, though, and without French, how can it be Canada?

I will probably be writing much on Canada. Come back later, eh?
